Strawberry Ice-Cream

STRAWBERRY ICE-CREAM

2 cups skim milk
1 cup non-fat dry milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sugar or use powdered artificial sweetner
5 oz strawberries

1.   In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients except strawberries.
2.   Place in a saucepan and heat gently, stirring continuously until mixture boils and thickens.  Cool slightly.
3.   Add strawberries and freeze in an ice-cream churn, following the manufacturers' directions.  Or freeze until edges are solid, beat in an electric mixer and re-freeze until mixture is solid.

Preparation time:  15 minutes plus 1-4 hours freezing. 
Cooking time: 5 minutes
