Slow Cooker: Stuffed Peppers

Entrée: STUFFED PEPPERS
 
Prep Time:  20 Minutes
Cooking Time:  4 – 8 Hours

1 ½ lbs. ground turkey
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chicken flavored rice mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup raisins
¼ teaspoon salt
6 medium red or green peppers, tops cut off, seeds removed
1 can (29 oz.) tomato sauce
Minced fresh parsley for garnish

Combine ground turkey, rice mix, seasonings and raisins.  Fill peppers with mixture and place peppers in the slow cooker.
Pour tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers
Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.

Serves 8-10
