Slow-Cooker Recipe: Pork
As prepared by Pepper Pete, owner of Pete's Pepper Palace in Burlington, ON

What you need:
 - one pork roast...picnic is the cheapest & best, bone in would also be best
 - any type of meat rub, we have a couple of great ones in the store
 - a liquid of your choice to help with the slow cooking process:  beer, white wine, BBQ sauce, ginger ale

What you do:
 - coat the pork in the rub...press it in well and ensure that it's in all the cavities etc
         - let it sit about 2 hours
 - drop the pork in a slow cooker, fat side up
 - add the liquid, about 12oz
 - set the slow cooker on low and leave it for 8-10 hours

When it's done:
 - remove from cooker & use a fork to pull away the fat  (it'll come off easily)
 - lay it on a cutting board & use two forks to pull apart....the size of the finished pieces is up to you
 - put the pulled meat into a pot
 - smother in your favorite BBQ sauce & set on the stove to warm  (that's optional, you can just microwave it)
 - cut some buns & your ready to go

Easy, eh?
