Household Reception Party Twists
As prepared by Chef James Piggott of Delta Meadowvale in Mississauga

Quick and Easy Garlic Shrimp Sticks

1 pound        Tiger shrimps, peeled and cleaned
2 tablespoons    Garlic
1 tablespoon    Olive Oil
2 tablespoons    Lemon Juice
½  teaspoon        salt
½  teaspoon        black pepper
2 tablespoons    Fresh parsley chopped
24 pieces        Wooden Skewers
To Serve         Cocktail sauce

Method
In a large bowl toss shrimp with garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and parsley.  Let marinate in the fridge covered for about 1 hour
Bring a large skillet to high heat.  Add a few drops of olive oil and then sauté shrimp till they are cooked (about 2 minutes)
Carefully skewer each shrimp on a wooden stick and arrange on a platter layered with your favorite cocktail sauce.  Sprinkle with a few chopped chives and present.

Quick and Easy Tenderloin Forks

12 pieces        Beef Tenderloin Cubes (about an ounce each)
To taste         Salt and Pepper
To Glaze        Hoisin Sauce

Method
Season tenderloin cubes with salt and pepper
Bring a pan to high heat and add a few drops of oil.  Pan sear the beef for about 1 minute on each side
When the beef is turned top each one with about ½ teaspoon of Hoisin sauce (you can find this in the Asian section of any grocery store)
Carefully remove the beef and pierce the side of the meat with a small shrimp or butter fork
Present on a platter with a sprinkling of fresh chopped herbs and serve.

Quick and Easy Jerk Style Lamb Lollipops

2 packages        Lamb Racks (cleaned)
1 jar    Jerk Paste (found in the Caribbean section of the grocery store)
2 pieces    Mango, ripe, fine diced
1 piece    Red Pepper, fine diced
1 tablespoon    Fresh Coriander, finely chopped
1 teaspoon    Rice Wine Vinegar
To Taste    Salt and Pepper

Method
In a bowl mix mango ,red pepper, coriander and rice wine vinegar.  Season with salt and pepper and let sit for about an hour
Cut lamb racks into individual chops.  In a bowl marinate chops with as little or as much Jerk Paste as you like (do no add salt and pepper yet as the salt will draw the moisture out of the lamb and make them dry).  Let the chops marinate for at least an hour
Prior to cooking season the lamb with salt and pepper. Either bring a large skillet to high heat and pan sear each chop or fire up the BBQ and grill each chop.
On a serving platter layer the mango salsa on the bottom and place the cooked lamb on the platter.  Finish with some fresh seedlings or fine sliced green onions.  Enjoy.

Super Easy and Quick Curried Butter Chicken Spoons

2 Packages    Curried Butter Chicken and Basmati Rice Dinners (Can be found at most grocery stores in the frozen food section)
24 China Spoons

Method
Follow the directions on the package to heat the butter chicken meal
Start by filling the china spoons with the rice and then top with the curried chicken.  Place the spoons on a serving platter
Finish with a sprinkle of fresh chopped coriander or a dollop of mango chutney on top of each spoon.  Sever and Enjoy!
