Did you know that dehydration can lead to lack of energy, poor skin,
digestive problems, muscle soreness and headaches?  By simply drinking
enough water in a day can make you not just feel better but look better too.
Here is a little formula to help you determine what your daily water intake
should be:

Take your body weight and divide that number in half.  This will give you an
approximate amount of ounces that you should drink in a day.

Sore and Achy Feet?  Here is an effective and inexpensive way to give your
tender tootsies some relief at the end of a long day!  Take a small one time
use water bottle and fill it ¾ of the way with water. Place it in your
freezer.  At the end of a long day, take it out and use it as a frozen
rolling pin on the bottom of your feet.  Rolling the bottle back and forth
from your toes to your heels will help to break up any adhesions that are
present, it will massage the foot and the cold will help to reduce any
inflammation present.  This trick works great for people with plantar
fasciitis.

Herbs like Echinacea and Goldenseal are great natural antibiotics that are
powerful at fighting colds and infection.  They are most effective when
taken at the first signs of cold/infection and should not be taken for
longer than 7-14 days at a time.
Immune-boosting superfoods include garlic, onions, and shitake mushrooms.
Adding any or all of these to soups, stews or stir-frys is an easy way to
support your immune system through the winter months.
